Tomorrow he will be evaluated by the occupational, physical and speech therapists and then will start his 3 hours per day rehab. The nursing staff and doctors seem to be very personable and knowledgable.
Unfortunately, because we still can't communicate, I think he thought he was going home. When he arrived, he was noticeably sad and frustrated, but he is feeling much better now. He is in his street clothes with a nice private room with a lot more opportunity for independence.
For those who want to visit, he's free from therapy every day after 4 pm. If you would like to visit before that, we just ask that you call the desk at 315.492.5573 and ask what time works best so as not to interfere with his therapy.
That's all for now. Thank you again for your kind messages and prayers.

George and Karen,
DeleteWe'd love to see you. Any day after 4 pm would be great. It looks like Sunday may be a lighter therapy day, so I bet he'll be able to take visitors any time after 10 am that day.
